How are budgets made?

 

The translation price depends on specificity, urgency and number of words (minutes if video or audio and hours in case of interpretation services).

 

The budget for cultural consultancy services depends on the client's needs. The price relates to the lasting of the project and the complexity of the tasks involved. 

What are the services offered?

As a translation company, we offer the following services: technical and literary translation, proofreading, subtitling, transcription, localization and interpretation.

As a cultural advisory company, we offer the following services: consultancy, training, talks, short courses, conferences, multicultural studies, intelligence and geopolitical analysis, analysis and studies of alliances and strategic networks and context analysis. We also help foreigners with their Brazilian Portuguese learning strategies.

Glósses works with which languages? 

Our working languages are Brazilian Portuguese, American English, British English, Spanish, French, Arabic and German.

How long does it take to get a quote for a translation?

We respond to all emails within 48 hours.

What if there is a tight deadline?

If there is urgency, we ask you to contact us via phone call or message on Telegram or WhatsApp. If you prefer not to use a phone, we are available through our Instagram page. We answer messages from Monday to Saturday during our opening hours.

What are Glosses' opening hours?

The company operates in Brasília time, GMT-3. We are open between 09:00 – 11:30 and between 13:00 – 19:00; from Monday to Saturday.

 

How should I submit files to be analysed for translation?

Please, send your documents by e-mail. 

 

For scanned documents, send colour images with good alignment of all pages. Please, use a scanner.

If the file is too large you can use a file hosting service and send us the link by e-mail.

 

In case of files created by the client on your computer, please prefer usual formats and programs to avoid conversion problems (such as word mirroring – especially for languages that use other alphabets, such as Arabic).

 

What are the payment methods?

 

Accepted payment methods include wire transfer, credit or debit card and Paypal.
